The Christmas Carol Sing-Along is back!

Mark your calendars and join Gail Miller and Family at the Delta Center on Dec. 16 at 7:00 p.m. with The Lower Lights and Yahosh Bonner for an evening filled with music and holiday cheer. Admission is FREE for everyone. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., program begins at 7:00pm.

At Broadway Cinema, the holidays reintroduces us to The Muppet Christmas Carol, It’s A Wonderful Life, and, inexplicably, Kill Bill–so something for everyone!

After the tragedy in Australia this weekend, let’s support our Jewish neighbors by celebrating the fifth night of Chanukah with a special community candle lighting alongside the congregation of Kol Ami. (City County Building, 6pm)

At Pioneer Park, join Pamela Atkinson at her annual vigil for the unsheltered who have passed away this year. Pioneer Park, 5:30-6:30.

The Nutcracker, Temple Square lights, and Kurt Bestor… for Utahn’s they’re synonymous with the holidays. For 37 years, Kurt has been harkening the Yuletide-spirit for hundreds of thousands of fans.  See him at the Eccles, four shows, tickets start at $40.

This Bird of Dawning: The Nativity from The Sting & Honey Company has been staged for 17 years. The Salt Lake Tribune’s critic said, “It is almost impossible to describe its impact.” Through music, poetry, and movement, the production is ethereal and ephemeral, following Mary’s journey. (Eccles Black Box, Three Shows, $25)

The Holiday Pops Extravaganza at Utah Symphony has been one of the best-selling concerts for the past three years at Abravanell Hall—so whether you’re naughty, nice, or somewhere in between, this is one holiday tradition you’ll need to add to your list. Friday and Saturday, 7:30

One of our favorite local musicians, Peter Breinholt returns to Rose Wagner for his Christmas performances. Nostalgia, hope, wrapped in folk. Fri-Mon, $36.

KUAA and Quarters Arcade Bar present Boyfriend Sushi Town, a four-piece garage rock band from SLC. It’s just $10, but free with a can of soup for their food drive!

Utah Symphony plays your holiday favorites with Santa and Nöel the Elf making an appearance. This performance is part of the orchestra’s Family Series, so bring the kids–there are pre-concert activities in the lobby!

Tickets will sell out soon! Abravanell Hall,  Noon, $24+.
