See full event listings at The Blocks Arts District
The NEW rooftop at the Salt Lake Main Library is serene and the views are splendid, so come sweat it out with summertime sunset yoga! Bring water and sunscreen and please arrive 10 minutes early to claim your space! 7:30
Amazingly tickets are still available for $25 to Sierra Ferrell’s Twilight Concert. Her sound has been compared to Dolly Parton and Ella Fitzgerald but translated through a 1920’s phonograph. There is a vintage quality that is comforting and gorgeous. Don’t miss her tonight at Gallivan Center.
Take advantage of Sundance Film Festival free screenings for locals. Eight films, from rom-coms to docs, explore our world in ways only small movies can.
One of the films, Come See Me in the Good Light features Colorado’s poet laureate, Andrea Gibson who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The documentary captures their journey with partner and poet Megan Falley. It has won many awards and is a wonderful sob-worthy celebration of their creative, wonderful spirit. Andrea succumbed to ovarian cancer on Monday after 49 years on this plane. Their final words were, “I f***ing loved my life.”
Kevian Kraemer sold out Kilby Court so quickly, his “Jersey or Mars Tour” was moved to The Complex. His indie pop and catchy melodies are youthful and catchy, especially for just $25!
We have mixed feelings about this, but we’re not going to impose our rules on our readers that holidays have a beginning and end date.
So, head down to The Gateway for a Santa Walk and “Christmas in July” Market and Craft Fair. More than 60 vendors from handmade jewelry to resin art will line Rio Grande Street 4-9pm.
At the Downtown Farmers Market you have to try Marisa Martinez’ Santa Backyard Coffee! The energy at the booth is infectious and the coffee and matcha drinks are unique, exciting, and delicious! From the blue vanilla cold foam to the strawberry milk matcha, everything is made with love from Maria! 8-2 at Pioneer Park.
We want to feature your fun!
