The Mammoth have clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs! After 82 games, the team is currently holding a top wild-card spot in the Western Conference. But first, they have one last regular season match against the St. Louis Blues. Take advantage of ticket prices before they skyrocket.  Delta Center, 5:30.

Ririe-Woodbury presents an evening of women choreographers. The triple bill features Tzveta Kassabova’s Opposite of Killing, which Kathy Adams, Salt Lake Tribune’s dance critic called, “one of the most impactful pieces I have ever seen.” Rose Wagner, Fri+Sat, 7:30

Guest artists join Utah Symphony for the greatest Latin pop hits from the 90’s! Covering Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Santana and more, this sounds en fuego.  Abravanel Hall, Fri+Sat, 7:30.

Last week, we told you about Ballet West’s staging of West Side Story, which we saw this weekend and loved, but the three other works on the bill are even more compelling. Antique Epigraphs and Carousel showed off the Company’s range and After the Rain was mesmerizing, showcasing the athletic feats of principal dancers Emily Adams and Hadriel Diniz. Just three performances Fri-Sat.

ALSO FRIDAY

Dust off your robes, practice your spells and head to Utah Symphony’s Family Series for the music from Harry Potter. Just 60 minutes, perfect for the little wizards with the wiggles. Abravanel Hall, 11am and 12:30pm.

Leonela Alejandro has won first place in more than a dozen renowned competitions for classical guitar. She makes her Salt Lake debut at Regent Street Black Box, 7:30

It is the FINAL Downtown Farmers Market for the winter season. We’re gonna hit up Jerome’s Market for a ready-to-roast chicken, stock up on eggs from Old Home Place, grab greens from Fine Tilth, and do one more shepherd’s pie with Lau’s lamb. Plus, this will be your last chance to see the MiG-21 fighter jet and Convair C-131 transport plane–they’ll be removed before next season!  Summer market kicks off June 6 at Pioneer Park!

Though some might find him crude or off-color, we laughed out loud at Ari Matti’s preview. Seems like people agree with us, as he’s sold out seven shows at Wiseguys this week. Just a few tickets left to Sunday’s 8:30 show

We want to feature your fun!
