A CURATED CALENDAR FOR THE CURIOUS SLC EXPLORER
See full event listings at The Blocks Arts District

With the debut of his infectious, uplifting songs, Stargazing and Nice to Meet You, British pop star Myles Smith became an overnight sensation. How his concert tonight at The Complex is not sold out has us scratching our heads! 6pm.

Edison House takes over programming at Art Garten (148 S Main Street) tonight with a line-up of three DJs: Perfect Tapes, Far Out Cassette Club, and Fisch Loops. Grab a beer, a bite to eat from the food truck, and relax! It’s almost the weekend! Free, 5-8.

Ben Stiller cast comedian Aaron Chen in his first movie, The Dink, released just two weeks ago. The hilarious Australian is known for his deadpan delivery, surreal observational humor, and quietly escalating absurdity. See him for just $25 at Wiseguys–tickets will be a lot more money next time he plays SLC.

Temperatures this weekend are perfect for the Downtown Farmers Market. Plus, local farmers have a bountiful crop of fresh corn, peaches, berries and more for you to snap up! 8-2, Pioneer Park.

Lifelong best friends  Bren Eisman and Joey Spurgeon were asked who their musical inspiration is and they said, “each other.” That got us. Together they make up the California band DWLLRS. They have an acoustic, unplugged coffee shop sound that you can enjoy at Soundwell for just $29.

All hail Capitol Grille’s Steak Sandwich: tender prime cut ribeye with sweet and savory caramelized onions, Havarti, and horseradish cream on a French roll. This is a decadent power lunch and we can’t wait to go back. Sit in the bar for service from Bartender Bill, and you’ll leave with a new best friend too.

We want to feature your fun!
