Edison House takes over programming at Art Garten tonight with a line-up of THREE bands: Alex Elggren,  Bangarang, and duo Neal Middleton and Taylor Richards. Grab a beer, a bite to eat from the food truck, and relax! It’s almost the weekend! Free, 5-8.

It is impossible not to love Alicia Keys. Her Tony-winning autobiographical musical, Hell’s Kitchen, is at Eccles through Sunday and features hits like Girl on Fire and Fallin. Tix start at $87.

Hot House West and Trash Moon Collective present Joy in Rhythm, a free concert at Gallivan… but wait! There is more! Square dancing with energetic callers, chaotic do-si-doing, and a heck ton of hootin’ and hollerin’. Free, 6-10 

The Aquabats: Crime-fighting superheroes meet new wave rock meet comedy in an unabashedly silly band from the mid-90s. Be prepared: crowd participation is kind of mandatory, and that's the fun. The Depot, 8pm.

Back at the Art Garten, farm boy, singer, songwriter Brother Chunky plays his signature “Chunky Funk” for a mellow Friday evening. Melt into the weekend, 5-8.

What? You want more free concerts downtown?! Urban Echo brings together four of Utah’s most prominent cellists and entertainers: Nicole Pinnell, Liz Marsh, and brothers Austin and Jaron Packer.
