Zolita grew up playing bluegrass with a flat pick guitar. Now in her 30’s, you can still hear some twang, though layered with a heavy dose of alt and electropop–giving her a sound all her own with a modern day Elvira aesthetic. Soundwell, 7PM.
ALSO WEDNESDAY
He’s sold more certified-Diamond records than The Beatles, or, for that matter, anyone. Garth Brooks brings his in-the-round Blame It All On My Roots tour to the Delta Center for four shows. We never say this, but at $154, these tickets seem pretty reasonable for a living legend and Kennedy Center Honoree.
Joanne McNally is an Irish comedian. And, since this is a family-friendly blog, most of what she says is not printable, but incredibly hysterical. Wiseguys, 7PM.
hey nothing is a twentysomething Atlanta duo who met in high school and is now playing big festivals like Bonnaroo and Shaky Knees. Their sound is both innocent and raw, and Tyler and Harlow’s voices blend to be one of the most beautiful harmonic duos we’ve heard in a long time. Soundwell, 7PM.
Kotaro Fukuma opens the Bachauer Concert Series. At just 14 years old, the child prodigy won the prestigious Bachauer competition in Salt Lake. Today, at 29, he has traveled the world, performing on the most iconic stages in the world. See him at the intimate Rose Wagner for just $58.
Another Bonnaroo alum, Sam Beam, better known as Iron & Wine is multi-instrument folk rock hero with a voice to melt the hearts of everyone from Musk to Malfoy. The Depot, 7PM.
ALSO FRIDAY
The cornucopia of fall vegetables like squash, zucchinis, and pumpkins is in copious supply. But don’t wait–just three more Saturdays in the park! 8-2pm.
The original vigilante, Zorro comes to life in the form of a swashbuckling opera at Capitol Theatre. Lavish production details, cinematic choreography, and a man in a black mask create a ballad with plenty of flashing blades and flamenco fire. Utah Opera, 7:30.
GIANT PUMPKINPALOOZA rolls into The Gateway with monstrously large gourds competing for the 2026 Utah championship! Some might be more than 1,000 lbs! There will also be pumpkin carving and decorating stations, face painting, pie eating contest AND a soda-chugging contest! (That is so very Utah–Watch Out!) Noon-6, free
