The Downtown Merchants Association has served as an advocate and gathering space for small businesses in Downtown Salt Lake City for nearly a century. Currently, the merchants association is hosted by the Downtown Alliance, a non-profit organization that represents more than 2,500 businesses and property owners within the Central Business District of Salt Lake City. Bounded by North Temple, 600 West, 400 South and 300 East, the Central Business District is the economic and cultural center of the Wasatch Front.

Business owners, managers, and employees are welcome to join us at the Downtown Merchants Association meetings. No membership is required, but the meetings are reserved for businesses located within the Central Business District.

The Downtown Merchants Association meets monthly, on the first Tuesday of each month, from 4 - 5 pm. Meeting locations vary, allowing us to gather within unique businesses throughout downtown.

Subscribe to the Downtown Merchants Association newsletter in order to stay up to date on our meeting locations as well as vital updates regarding downtown events, public safety, and more!
