The expansion construction will last until August 2006 and will launch the Salt Palace Convention Center into a select category of convention facilities that can offer to its clients over a half million square feet of contiguous exhibit space. The Salt Palace acted as the Main Media Headquarters during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
