Getting around Downtown: Transportation

With multiple transportation options and more parking than ever, visiting Downtown SLC has never been easier. To get here by car, simply take I-15 to one of several downtown exits. Not travelling by vehicle? We've got you covered.

You can also take public transportation into downtown via UTA'S FRONTRUNNER, TRAX or Bus system. Once downtown TRAX is free within the Free Fare Zone. For more information on stops and schedules, visit www.rideuta.com.

Parking

Once you've arrived downtown by car, you can park at one of the many parking spaces—there are over 30,000 in the core downtown area alone. The city has recently upgraded its parking meters with new, electronic pay stations that allow you to use coins, smartphones or credit cards. And, as always, there are lots of spots for you to lock-up your bike.
