Downtown Alliance 2010 Achievement Awards: Call for Nominations

Exceptional contributions to Salt Lake City’s downtown will be recognized in the 16th Annual Downtown Achievement Awards, presented by the Downtown Alliance. The entry deadline is Friday, April 8 and awards will be presented on June 30, 2011.

Awards will be presented to a group, company or individual who has made a significant contribution to the Central Business District, helping to build a more dynamic and diverse community that is the regional center for culture, commerce and entertainment.

Who is eligible?

Group, company or individual located within the boundaries of 400 South, 700 West, North Temple Street and 300 East (commercial, residential and retail developers, small businesses, business associations and districts, downtown-based companies and nonprofit organizations, government organizations and officials, performing arts groups along with individual artists, musicians and other performers, sports and entertainment organizations, downtown residents, visitors, commuters and enthusiasts).

To nominate, visit downtownslc.org/achievement and fill out an application with a description of 250 words maximum, explaining how the nominee has made an exceptional contribution to downtown Salt Lake City. 

The entry deadline is April 8.  Please include your name, the name of the nominee and contact information for both.
